Black Light for Beginners. Learn in person how to use a black light, and the many fun and interesting uses for black light, including creating fluorescent art, counterfeit detection of currency, licenses and memoribilia, identification of art glass, making invisible security markers for valueables. No experience required.

 

Forensic Light in Collectible and Memorabilia Examination: Introductary course for collectors and dealers, shows how longwave and shortwave ultraviolet, infrared and visible light is used to examine everything from trading cards to paintings, art glass to toys. Forensic light is an aid in judging age and authenticity, identifying fakes and alterations in collectible, and is used by CSI forensic scientists and famous art museums. Attendees will have a chance to use the different lights in the class. No experience with forensic light is required.
